TRAINING
A central mission of our Institute is the education and training of psychoanalytic psychotherapists.
Since 2014, we have offered a comprehensive range of courses and training programmes grounded in psychoanalytic theory and practice. We also provide a formal certification process for psychoanalytic psychotherapists, in accordance with the affiliation standards of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, with which our Institute has been affiliated since 2017:
– 360h of theoretical and clinical seminars in 4 years course
– 3 supervisions of training cases: one seen 4 times a week for minimum 2 years, one seen 3 times a week for minimum one year and one adolescent or elderly patient seen less minimum once a week for minimum one year. Each student has to complete 200 hours of supervision (once a week)
– Individual, 4 times a week analysis form minimum 4 years run by psychoanalysts or psychoanalytic psychotherapists accepted by the training committee
– The final exam: paper presentation combining clinical material with theoretical ideas
CLINICS
The Institute operates four clinics, located in Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań, and Gdynia, providing psychoanalytic services for patients across all age groups. In keeping with our clinical tradition, the first three consultations are offered free of charge. More….
PUBLISHING HOUSE
Since 2015, the Institute has operated a dedicated publishing arm focused on the dissemination of psychoanalytic literature, with particular emphasis on works within the Kleinian tradition. The publishing initiative aims to contribute to the development of psychoanalytic thought and to make key texts accessible to a wider group of professionals. More…
